Arne Frick
In the research group of
Prof. Dr. Gerhard
Goos, I am working with Wolf Zimmermann on
design and implementation of Karla, the Karlsruhe
Library of Algorithms. As a result, we have already published several papers on the construction of reliable libraries.
The library itself is used in an Algorithms
Engineering laboratory I teach.
My own current research focuses on Software
Visualization. I am heading towards my Ph.D. degree, which I will
complete sometime this summer. The thesis itself will cover Runtime
Visualization of Programs, especially the animation of graph
algorithms. As non-negligible amount of time naturally went into the area
of Graph Drawing.
